Haroon Abdul Hakkim is an experienced Back End Developer currently working at Innovit. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has worked with various technologies and has a strong understanding of backend development. In his current role at Innovit, Haroon is responsible for developing backend systems that support the company's products and services. He works with a team of developers to design and build robust and scalable systems using Java, Spring, Hibernate, SOAP, and REST Web Service. Prior to Innovit, Haroon worked as a Technical Lead at Sears Holdings India where he designed and built a subsystem within the Order Management System that removed the bottleneck of not being able to send order details during store closed hours. He also strategized and reduced the stuck order count by 90% using reconciliation process and shell scripting. His exposure to Java, Spring, Hibernate, SOAP, REST Web Service, and Shell scripting has enabled him to deliver high-quality solutions to complex problems. Haroon also worked as a Project Engineer at Wipro where he worked on the development of Dealer Management System Web Application and REST Services for Mahindra & Mahindra. He delivered REST web services that were consumed by client's in-house mobile and web applications. He was solely responsible for designing and building the business rule engine for the NextGen Medicare Advantage 360 platform. His exposure to Java, J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Struts 2.0, iBatis, RESTful Web Service, Jboss Drools, and IBM Websphere has helped him to develop a diverse skill set. Haroon holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Biotechnology from IIT Madras. He is skilled in Backend, Web, Java, Senior Software Engineer, Spring, Javascript, and Mobile technologies.
